THE PLOT:

A film crew goes on a trek down the Amazon River to find a long lost tribe of people who worships giant snakes and have to deal with two problems. One a massive monster snake that wants to eat them and two, the captain they hired is really a madman hunting the big snake. Now the question changes from will the find the lost tribe to...can they escape alive?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

The diabolical snake is pretty impressive in the effects department and they have this great cast of stars standing in line to be snake food, but they're are character issues and minor story issues. But as a whole this is a good movie worth watching. 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

The creature effects are amazing but with a rapid rampaging reptile on the run did we really need a human villain as well? Makes you think. 8 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The snake effects are impressive.)
+ CAST (A cast of stars giving their own to make a great movie.)
+ CG (The CG effects are great.)
+ STORY (The story basically works.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- HUMAN VILLAIN (With a rampaging reptile on the run, did we need a human villain?)
- CHARACTER ISSUES (The Captain Ahab bit got old fast.)

- FAN BASED (There are some people who may not like Anaconda movies.)
