THE PLOT:

A team goes deep within the Amazon jungle in order to find a rare orchid that is believed to be the secret of eternal life.

But the quests hits two snags, one the boat is wrecked because of an uncharted waterfall and two, they come exactly at the time of the mating ritual of really big anacondas. These two setbacks may spell more then failure for this team and their insane obsessed leader.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Compared to the first movie this isn't as good. There are serious character issues and down right annoying parts, but the story works and even though the ending was disappointing I was expecting that outcome. 7 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd on this one, in fact I was so disappointed I am thinking a much, much lower grade. Without giving it away it was a long trip with little to show for it. 4 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ EFFECTS (The effects are great.)
+ CAST (The cast does a good job with the material given to them.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- PREDICTABLE (I saw what happened at the end way in the beginning.)
- SERIOUS CHARACTER ISSUES (These characters need a good slap.)
- DISAPPOINTING CLIMAX (Without giving it away, it was disappointing.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you didn't like the first movie or aren't one for really big snake movies, then this isn't the movie for you.)
