THE PLOT:
A national park becomes the sight of a blood bath when two campers are brutally murdered. All signs point to a bear but the
tracking devices prove all the bears are where they are suppose to be, a naturalist suspects a believed extinct breed prehistoric
grizzly.
But stopping this man-eating grizzly bear becomes hindered by the red tape of Government and when his boss places a bounty
on the head of the bear it turns into a nightmare for those trying to protect the brown bears.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Coming out not too long after Jaws it was the first to exploit the animals attack story. But I got to admit I was surprised
to find out it wasn't an ordinary grizzly, a prehistoric grizzly is a cool concept and does make it worth watching. I just
wish they could have done something besides a real bear. But what are you going to do, it's an average story worth watching
if nothing else is on. 5 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd again, this isn't a terrible movie but it's far from Jaws standards. There are some character issues and
story issues but nothing drastic and I also agree that it's the perfect thing to watch if your favorite show or movie is pre-emptied
for sports. 5 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ STORY (As a animal attacks story goes, it works.)
+ GRIZZLY (Even though they used a real grizzly, he did a good job.)
+ EDITING (The editing was great. It kept the size illusion alive.)
+ SIZE EFFECTS (They did a good job making us believe this wear was twice the size of a normal grizzly.)
+ MAKE UP EFFECTS (Some impressive gore effects.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- BEAR EFFECTS (Some of the bear effects were weak.)
- CHARACTERS (There were some character issues.)
- STORY (A basic rip off of Jaws.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you don't like the basic animal attacks plot line, then this isn't for you.)
